Her expressions are characterful and she looks just how she should. Two fencing foils are used as aerials on the back of the tank, which I’ve not seen before, and I like what’s been done with them! Now for the minifigures… Aayla is excellent as expected. It is a bit difficult to seat the gunner inside, but perhaps unintentionally there are lots of spots to sit troopers on the outside of the vehicle too, which can look brilliantly dramatic if done correctly! The white stud shooters blend seamlessly for a great feature bringing both play and aesthetic value to the table. The scale looks just right for a tank (perhaps a teensy bit on the small side, but not enough to bother me) and it’s bristling with little design quirks that work very nicely. Luckily I am a big fan of Republic vehicles and this one is no exception. Aayla was a big draw for me to this set, but I wouldn’t have bought it if I didn’t like the tank too. So as the title hopefully suggests I am a big fan of Aayla and Twi’lek in general – I’ve always thought they were a great alien, from Oola to Bib.

Oh and i got a free mini figure droid too!! I felt this product was maybe a bit overpriced, but a nice set regardless. I really enjoyed this build and took a leisurely two hours. The additional droids look really great and fold up as they do in the movies. They also move on hinges, so have plenty of range. The canons pack a real punch, so be careful not to lose all the missiles, however, you do get plenty of spares. I love the four mini figures included, a Jedi, two droids and a clone trooper. The attention to detail is great, with firing canons, an actual cockpit, and a storage compartment on the back. I was pleasantly surprised with the level of detail in the set.

this is an awesome set, definitely worth the 25, and if I had more money than I do I would buy several more, just for the tanks. However, this tank uses a forest green 2×8 in the front, which you can see if you look head-on. Like in the 2011 Sith Nightspeeder, they used red brackets hidden beneath the gray armor. Lego has a tendency to use brightly colored bricks to show you that it doesn’t matter what color it is, as long as it’s covered.
